Thank you for making Truffles’ first vet visit such a positive experience. Everyone in the office is friendly and Dr. Heather is great. Truffles would like you to know that he makes no apologies for holding Dr. Heather hostage for extra cuddles after his exam.

Our Olive broke her leg in a freak accident playing with Mama Luci. Her care started out at the emergency hospital, but we asked Dr. Will and the staff at Blue Lake Animal to take over her continued care. We have been thrilled with the care and the advice in taking care of her. A common sense approach and the prices are the most reasonable I have found for great veterinary services. We drive 45 min. to see Dr. Will and the team for their services. They also cared for Luci’s litter of 9 pups! It has been a great, personable experience and I will not take my pets anywhere else.

Excellent first time experience. Friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Dr Heather treated my cat for allergies in her ear which was inflamed with a bacterial infection. She took time to explain to me what caused it, gave her meds to take at home, and coated her inner ear to help with the irritation. I had been to another vet who barely looked at her & treated her without explanation in less that two minutes and walked out the door. My kitty did not get better and I felt she needed someone who would take some time to understand the issues, which were resolved at Blue Lake. I was a very happy client when I left. Today my cat is feeling much better and more herself. I am so grateful for Blue Lake Animal Hospital. They are the best!

Dr. Will and the staff at Blue Lake Animal hospital are phenomenal. They have taken wonderful care of my cats over the past year. Dr. Will is an extremely knowledgeable and competent vet. He always takes the time to listen to your questions and concerns. He gives thoughtful answers and makes sure that everyone is on the same page with a care plan. No matter how busy the place is, he never rushes through an appointment.

Great place to go!

The staff is great, everyone’s so personal and family-oriented and knows every dog or animal by name. The doctor is super sweet and offers every option he can for whatever problem you’re dealing with. All in all a great animal hospital.

Everyone is always helpful and nice. Glad we switched veterinarians.

My pet got attacked and needed help right away – Blue Lake fit us in, performed surgery and Dr. Will kept me apprised the whole time. When there were complications, they again fit us in right away and helped. Great vet office.

We live in Lansing and travel to the clinic for all of our dogs. Dr. Heather is so knowledgeable and actually gave us a more precise date on when our dog should have a c-section. If we would have gone off the previous advice from a different vet we were given, the puppies more than likely would be around 5 days early ( if you are a breeder you know there is a slim chance they would survive). All of the office staff are very polite and they all worked together to deliver our last litter of puppies. What a team❤️ Highly recommend!!!

I can’t say enough good about Blue Lake. My dog Buster is 15 years old and has some expected health issues, but they are always helpful with my pet and his needs.

This is a very caring place to bring your pet.

We have a reptile that needed some immediate care. The staff was able to get us an appointment within a couple of days. We received very good care for our reptile friend and will definitely use them again for any of our exotic pets.
