We have had an excellent experience of care, concern for our animals’ health and well-being, and kindness when we faced the cancer of our beloved Great Dane and later, our lab. We highly recommend both veterinarians and their staff. We are grateful for their expertise and care throughout all of these years of pet ownership. I have been bringing my dogs to South Crossing for the last 20 years. I have always been treated very well and so have my dogs. Recently, one of my dogs was diagnosed with a chronic condition. During the diagnostics phase, Dr. Fraley sent me numerous e-mails to let me know lab results and explain what the results meant. She went way above my expectations. They are always available when I need them and work my dogs in if the need is urgent. I have 100% confidence in how they care for Sheba, Roo and Maggie!!

I just want to thank Dr. Gavin and his staff for the excellent service and care that they gave to both my cat and horse. My cat came in for a routine annual check-up. He has had lumbar issues and after Dr. Gavin adjusted him he mentioned the cold laser treatment that they now offer. I took him up on it and my cat, who refused to jump onto higher surfaces, is now jumping onto chairs and tables!

Similarly, my horse had a muscle spasm in his lower back. Dr. Gavin came out to the farm, accessed his situation and gave him a chiropractic adjustment. The muscle spasm still persisted, so he suggested cold laser treatments. After a few treatments, I am happy to say that we are back in the saddle and enjoying riding again.

Thank you Dr. Gavin for the wonderful top notch care you and your staff continue to give to all my animals. I can always trust that you will do your very best to give my animals the expert care they need.

I have gone to South Crossing for at least 10 years. Drs. Gavin and Fraley are wonderful, as are the rest of the staff!

My cats received the best possible care during their long, happy lives. Sadly, I’ve lost my very elderly twins, but will be adopting again soon. I wouldn’t think of taking my cats anywhere else.

Yes, I’m spoiled. 30 some years ago when I first got into horses somebody gave me Dr Gavins name and phone number. He has been helping me ever since with the menagerie of animals I collected. I have always had nothing but caring, compassionate, trusted guidance, along with medical care for my valued friends, with no sugar coated advice or answers. I always get an explanation in terms I understand. I have been around to see other vets and how animals have been treated, yes I have cared for horses and dogs at other barns and have seen some real atrocities happen. Dr Gavin has done some incredible things with my animals with their quality of life and comfort being top priority. A bit more expensive than a ‘bargain basement’ vet but so well worth it. We all should know before we take animals in that we do have to open our wallets for their care. The staff here is top notch, I always get a warm reception when I go there.
